This magnificent and highly ornate Sindhi sarangi is one of the three instruments I have sold to the Music Instrument Museum in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. 

Along with it's brother The rare "doutar"  Rare Antique "doutar"  It too has wire decoration, silver plate and turquoise inlay.  This does imply Afghani craftsmanship, however they are also commonly made in Pakistan.
