This fantastic 60 year old kachaapi vina has been restored by the top luthier Chris Doddridge in the UK.  Tuned to G# or A , like surbarar or been, It's a perfect substitute for either and less cumbersome. 

As in most of these old vintage instruments, there are signs of usage. The present owner assures that the crack close by the pegs has been fixed and adds that playing it is very stable and sounds stunning. 

This instrument comes with a case/box and a smaller case for the upper tumba. Viewing is in Norwich, UK, and it is pick-up only.
